PARTNERS IN EDUCATION ***** Mission Statement: The mission of the Milford Miami Township Partners in Education program is to make education come to life for students by providing activities that establish connections with academics, our community and the business world.
The Partners in Education program started in Milford Schools in 1989. It was a loosely organized collection of a few dozen businesses. In 1996, the Milford Miami Township Chamber of Commerce helped revitalize the program. Business partners volunteer their time inside the classroom to share their experiences and expertise. Students benefit by seeing how classroom lessons relate to the business world. Partners see for themselves the abilities and potential of the younger generation.
