Letter to the Editor: Thank You, Milford Miami Township
Dear Editor:
We are sending a huge "thanks" to Milford and Miami Township for your generous support of our 12th Annual Taste of Christmas! Because of your help, our event raised record funds in the silent auction along with private donations with all funding going to the Mary Ann Partin Memorial Scholarship Fund. It was heartwarming to see businesses across the community—from the shops of Old Milford to restaurants from throughout the area—coming together to support not only our silent auction but to provide holiday fare to the 400+ in attendance. As we complete our 12th year of this community holiday celebration, we feel that the Milford Miami Township Chamber remains true to our mission of promoting and supporting our community. We thank Tracy Carpenter and the Milford Junior High School choral department, Ann Kramer and Dance Etc., and Milford musician Danny Baker for providing delightful holiday entertainment. The generous support of: Buechner Insurance Co., Control Works, L. Daniel Slusher & Assoc., Lehr’s Meats & Deli, Lykins Companies, Milford Community Fire Fighters, and National Bank & Trust; committee members Cathy Strief, Susan Cardinal, Mary Crowe, Karen Huff, and Tracy Popp along with 101 local businesses contributing to the Silent Auction and 15 area food vendors coming together to make it possible for the Milford Miami Township Chamber to continue hosting the biggest community Christmas party in Clermont County! Thanks to this strong support we look forward to our 57th year of serving the business community of Milford Miami Township.
