Text Box: Hurricane Katrina left many homeless. How it had an impact on us when we learned of a young woman that graduated from Milford and entered the service lost everything, the Chamber decided to adopt them. The Millers, Vernel, Jennifer, Andrew and soon to be born Abigail had just been transferred to Biloxi, Mississippi when Katrina hit. They lost their newly purchased house and all it contents.

Frontier Days.  Charlie Evans and committee have met and are making plans for Frontier Days.  This year’s event will be held, June 1, 2, 3 & 4, 2006.  They have discussed adding several new shows and are always looking for more.  If you have any ideas, please share them by calling 831-2411.  Karen or Jo Ann will forward all ideas to the committee.

If you want to help with any of these upcoming events, please don’t hesitate to call us 831-2411 and we will give your name to the committees involved

We are happy to report that the Air Force relocated the family to Wright Patterson in Dayton.  They send their greetings and thanks to all that helped and prayed for them during this difficult time.

They wrote: “things that used to be important aren’t so anymore and things that we have always taken for granted are now very important.”

Thanks again for all that helped make a difference.
