WELCOME!!

We are pleased to announce that Karen Huff is the new Executive Director of the Milford Miami Township Chamber of Commerce.  Karen has been an active member of the Chamber for several years.  She is a floral designer and comes from The Lavender Stick Florist.  Eager to broaden her horizons, Karen decided she should try this new venture.  She has extensive knowledge of the workings of the Chamber.  Karen has been on the Board of Directors for 5 years and has been very active on many committees.   Always with a smile on her face and eager to help, we welcome her.

With a vacant spot on the Board of Directors due to Karen’s promotion we are happy to welcome Victoria Shafer of MarkAndy, Inc. to the board.  Victoria is the head of Human Resources for MarkAndy and has served on various committees for the Chamber.  We are sure she will be a real asset to the board.  Welcome aboard!!

We have begun our membership drive.  It will run from June thru Sept.  Our membership is the backbone of our Chamber and we need to work hard to continue to grow.  The Chamber offers many services and is always open to new ideas from our members.  If you can help or know of a business, new or already established, that could join our Chamber; give us a call at 831-2411.  You could also contact one of the team members listed below.

FRONTIER DAYS…

Another  year the weather cooperated and the people came to enjoy Frontier Days.  The parade kicked off the celebration, Thursday, June 2^nd at 6:30pm and the threat of rain did not deter the crowds.  There was good food, rides and lots of entertainment at the American Legion grounds.  The committee thanks all who attended and all the volunteers that made it possible by working throughout the weekend.
