COMING SOON!!

The Chamber’s Taste of Christmas is being planned by Cathy Strief and her committee. It will be held, Wednesday, December 7th at the Milford Community Firefighters Hall, 1005 Lila Ave. in the Milford Shopping Center from 6-8:30PM .  The letter was sent to all members looking for food vendors, floral decorations, and items for the silent auction.  Please be generous as the proceeds from this event go to the Mary Ann Partin Scholarship Fund.

Come on out for the 2005 Miami Township Holiday Parade.  This parade will be held Thursday, November 17th beginning at 7:00pm .  The parade begins at Meijer’s store and proceeds down S. R. 28 ending at K-Mart.  Last year’s parade was a lot of fun and this year looks like it will be even bigger.  Bring the family and come out and enjoy the kickoff of the holiday season in the township.

The Chamber is planning yet another luncheon for December.  This one will be held at Promont on Wednesday, December 14th.  Promont will be decorated for Christmas and their theme is Victorian Christmas.  Please reserve early to insure a spot.  Call us at

 831-2411 or e-mail us at director@milfordmiamitownship.com.

LIGHT UP MILFORD – LIGHT UP MIAMI TOWNSHIP

Wouldn’t it be great to see all of Milford and Miami Township business district decorated with holiday lights.  The Chamber is working on a plan to make this a reality. Charles Evans heads up this endeavor and has contacted the City and Township for help. His committee is working on lighting the gateways to the city and township this year.  This hopefully will catch on a little more each year and in the end would attract more people to come and shop in our area.  Businesses will be encouraged to decorate their storefront using a theme unique to their business.   If you have any ideas to make this a reality, please feel free to share them with us.  Call us at the office or e-mail us and we would be happy to share your thoughts with the committee.  With your help, we can make this happen.
