The Board of
Directors is happy to announce the appointment of Rick Seissiger as the
newest member of the board. Rick and his son Aaron own and operate
DigiMax Signs & Designs at 759 U.S. 50. Rick is responsible for many of
the signs and banners that we use for our events. He is always eager to
help and always comes through if we need something done quickly. We
welcome Rick and look forward to working with him. |

City of Milford
Hires New Assistant City Manager - Pamela Holbrook was
recently selected to fill the Asst. City Manager position left
vacant when Jeff Wright joined the City of Loveland. Ms.
Holbrook, an Indianapolis native graduated from Indiana
Univ.-Purdue with a Bachelor of Science degree. In 1992
she moved to Davidson, NC and has worked as a Senior Planner
with the town of Huntersville, a rapidly growing area west of
Charlotte, NC. Her responsibilities included oversight
of all commercial site plan reviews, annexations, text
amendments, re-zoning, variances and appeals. She will join
the city on November 27, and looks forward to spending time
getting to know the area, the businesses and the residents.

and Miami Township Leaders receive recognition at Clermont 20/20
Annual Dinner Meeting.
The
event will be held on February 23, 2006 at Holiday Inn East.
Jean Ackermann awarded Civic Award; Miami Township Police
Dept. the Safety & Justice Award; Miami Township Fire/EMS
the Health/Health Care Award; Miami Township VISION 2025
Comprehensive Plan Committee receive the Miami Township
Leadership Award and and Suzanne Stagg, receives the
City of Milford Leadership Award. |

The Milford Miami
Township Chamber of Commerce was awarded the Community Award
Small Business of the Year by the Milford Community Fire
Dept. at their annual awards dinner, Saturday, Jan. 28th.
The event was held at the Milford Firefighters Community
Hall. When Chief John
Cooper announced the Chamber a winner Karen Huff, Executive Director
said “I was in shock”. What
a wonderful surprise and honor and the entire Board of Directors
and office
staff wish to say “Thank
you”. We
will try to live up to the honor.
If
you are in the area, stop in to see the beautiful glass sculpture
presented to
your chamber. We display it with pride.
Other
awards given during the Milford Community Firefighters Appreciation
Dinner included: Firefighter of the Year: Nick Thiele, 40 yrs. of
service: Chief John Cooper, 30 yrs. of service: Mark Flanigan, The
Howard Glancey Jr. Award: Rob Brinkman, and Patriotism Award:
New Creative Enterprise. Jon Frye did a great job of
coordinating this great event. |
