Promont House Museum invites the community to celebrate
spring with them at the annual Daffodil Day celebration from
1:30 to 4:30pm. Events include: Hat Parade, Flower
Arrangement Contest, Pie Contest, a Daffodil Talk by Mary
Lou Gripshover of the American Daffodil Society and an
Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 2 to 12. Entrance to
Promont and musical entertainment will be free all afternoon

event will be held at the Oasis Conference Center, 902
Loveland-Miamiville Rd., social hour 5:30 pm and dinner at
6:00 pm. Ten scholarships will be awarded to deserving
Milford area seniors. Each school in the greater
Milford area will also have an opportunity to honor their
Teacher of the Year. Tickets for the dinner are $32.50 per

Stage - This year's event will feature national
award winning artist, John Weiss, who will be in the gallery
on Friday evening (5-8 PM) and Saturday (10 AM - 4 PM). "I
paint for the love of dogs and the many emotions they
share," says Weiss, who is well known for his beautiful dog
paintings. Center Stage will also showcase many of
our local artists including Larry Adams, DeVere Burt, Robert
Coomer, Les LeFevre, Mary Louise Holt, Rob Nunnington, Peggy
Unkel and Steve Wells among others who literally take center
stage in the gallery's main showrooms throughout the
three-day event. Artists will demonstrate varying art
mediums and talk about their respective techniques.

Milford Community Firefighters Hall. Chair Mary Crowe
- On Friday, December 7, we will feature Scott Gustafson and
his latest book, Favorite Nursery Rhymes from Mother Goose.
From nonsense to lessons learned, these forty five rhymes
include the very well known (Itsy Bitsy Spider) and the
somewhat familiar (Hickety, Pickety, my black hen). You'll
also find painting surprises, like an anthropomorphic baking
