44th
Frontier Days in the History
Book (2006)
Thursday,
June 1, the parade kicked off the 44th Annual Frontier Days.
There was rain but it did cool things off and gave three days
of good weather for the event.
The
Grand Marshall was Bob Stephens a long time Frontier Days
parade organizer.
The
Honorary Grand Marshall's were Lance Cpl. Nick Erdy and Lance
Cpl. Bryan Taylor, two young men that lost their lives in the
Iraq War.
Winners in the parade float competition:

Second
Place: Applebee’s Restaurant – 5980 Meijer Dr. Milford
Third
Place: Milford Church of Christ-844 St. Rt. 131 Milford
Winners in the drill team competition:

Place: Americano’s– 1372 Cottonwood Ct. Milford
Friday, June 2, the 3 on 3 basketball competition:

Saturday, June 3, the frog jumping contest

his frog “Hopper”
Second
Place: Thomas Alford and his frog “Maxwell”.
Also on Saturday, the 1st Annual Karaoke Contest was held.
